The hubby and I are trying to get fit.  Correction: He is fit and I am trying to get more fit.  Monday I ran a mile without stopping to rest!  First time in my life!  Tried to again yesterday and...FAIL!  Had to walk a bit...but I did lose another pound and am wearing pants that I haven't worn in probably over a year.  They are brown cords and are perfect for fall, if I do say so.

Tomorrow I WILL run without stopping!  Andres wants to do our first 5K on Thanksgiving morning, so I've got some work to do!  Big Apple Bagels didn't help this morning...


  1. Yum. Big Apple Bagels. I miss that place dearly. There's a program out on the internet called Couch to 5k if you haven't seen it yet I would check that out. When I ran I liked using the nike + ipod system. Chris lost my nano on a mountain somewhere so I'm going to use that as an excuse for not running anymore. haha

  2. I did try that...last spring! I think I made it through week four, and then the musical ended and I wasn't spending as much time at school, so I didn't feel like exercising...but actually, I've made it a lot farther just kind of doing my own thing this time. Except today I just didn't feel like going...Andres isn't too happy about that...

    And yeah, I think I didn't do so great on Wednesday because I need to update my workout playlist. Monday I kept going because it was my first time, and Wednesday I was like "Man, I've already done this AND my music sucks. Wish I was listening to Glee!"
